KELLY CASSELL

Kelly Cassell is a talented,  ACTRA actress based in Toronto. Her family is from Newfoundland, and it was during lively family get-togethers that she first discovered her love for singing along to old songs and performing for her relatives. Growing up in such a creative environment, she developed a passion for the arts early on. Whether it was singing, drawing, or performing monologues, she always found a way to entertain and connect with those around her. This passion for the arts led her to pursue acting in her adult life, where she has trained under some of the best in the industry, including Sophie Ann Rooney, Earl Nanhu, and at LB Acting Studios.

Before committing fully to acting, Kelly explored her interest in science, attending the University of Waterloo for biomedical science and later becoming a Registered Massage Therapist. These experiences gave her a unique perspective on the human body and the importance of empathy, which she brings to her performances.

As a proud plus-sized actress, Kelly is dedicated to portraying diverse and authentic characters, breaking barriers and challenging stereotypes in the entertainment industry. When she's not on set, she enjoys spending time with her dog, Piper, who is her faithful companion and a source of comfort and joy. Whether she's exploring Toronto or relaxing at home, Kelly is always inspired by the world around her and the stories yet to be told.
